The process of selecting a college dragged on longer than Sky Williams had expected. But finally, the Tuckahoe basketball standout knows what Division I school he’ll play for.
Williams will enroll at Manhattan College this fall and play for the Jaspers. The 6-foot-2 guard has been accepted to the school and said he’s received a spot on the team, all of which is pending NCAA clearance.
The MSG Varsity Hudson Valley player of the year guided Tuckahoe to a perfect 25-0 record and a Class C state championship.
Williams became the school’s all-time leading scorer and led Section 1 with 27.8 points per game. He scored 20 points or more in every postseason game, highlighted by a 37-point effort in the state championship to earn MVP honors.
Williams had 30 points or more in 10 games this season and over 40 twice.
