Wednesday, Feb. 22
Class A Quarterfinals
Tappan Zee 56, Byram Hills 52
Sarah Wenke scored 12 points as the second-seeded Dutchmen earned a trip to the County Center. Val DiMauro added nine points and 11 rebounds and Davona Paul added nine points and 10 boards in the victory. Beatriz Williams led Byram with 25 points and nine rebounds. Sleepy Hollow 54, Ardsley 43
Jamie Bucci scored 14 points in the win. Daniella Carrissimo chipped in ten and Grace Carr, Barbara Good and Alex Davis-Sumter each had eight points.
For Ardsley, league MVP Toni Pilla led the way with 14 points. Cassidy Wooten provided a spark off the bench and finished with seven points.
Pearl River 75, John Jay-CR 52
Christa Scognamiglio scored a game-high 25 points and Allison Cook added 20, including six 3-pointers, for the top-seeded Pirates. Pearl River will face No. 4 Albertus Magnus in semifinals at the County Center on March 1. Raegan Knox led the Indians with 20 points.
Albertus Magnus 49, Nanuet 32
Ryan Doherty led the Falcons with 19 points, including four 3-pointers. Kelly Guarino and Maeve Parahus scored 11 points for Albertus Magnus, which will play No. 1 Pearl River in the semifinals at the County Center on March 1.
Class B Quarterfinals
Kennedy 42, Woodlands 38
In a Section 1 Class B quarterfinal at No. 4 Kennedy Catholic, the Gaels only scored 13 points in the second half but still pulled out the win. Leah Greene, Kiera Hennessy and Sara Dowd each scored nine points for the Gaels.
Kennedy will play top-seeded Irvington in the Section 1 Class B semifinals on Feb. 28 at the Westchester County Center.
No. 5 Woodlands was sparked by Imani Tillford with 17 points. Shanice Perry and Nicole Brooks netted 10 and nine points, respectively.
Dobbs Ferry 40, Briarcliff 36
Kristy Degener scored 14 points to lead the Eagles to a comeback victory and a berth at the final four at the County Center. Third-seeded Dobbs Ferry will face No. 2 Blind Brook on Tuesday.
Brianna Celaj led the Bears with 14 points.
Irvington 67, Valhalla 31
Brittni Lai scored 18 points to lift the two-time state champions to another convincing playoff win. The top-seeded Bulldogs will play No. 4 Kennedy in the semifinals on Tuesday.
Lexi Martins had 11 points and Marley Giddins added 10 in the win.
Blind Brook 54, Croton-Harmon 36

Class AA Quarterfinals
Lourdes 67, New Rochelle 29
Our Lady of Lourdes cruised past New Rochelle with a lobsided 67-29 victory to advance back to the County Center. Lourdes led 19-5 after the first quarter and outscored New Rochelle 24-7 in the second quarter.
Emily Ferreri was the player of the game, scoring 23 points, grabbing nine rebounds and adding four steals. Paige Decker added 20 points and seven rebounds and Nora McElduff had eight points and nine rebounds. New Rochelle's Mary Miceli scored 12 points in the loss.
Carmel 52, Arlington 46
At Arlington, Alyssa D'Apice used a smothering defensive effort and scored a game-high 16 points to lead No. 10 Carmel to a 52-46 victory over No. 2 Arlington. Fellow senior guard Sabrina Diaz chipped in with 13 points in the victory. Arlington was led by Jocelyn Strack's 15 points and 14 rebounds, but it wasn't enough as Carmel advanced to the Westchester County Center for the second time in three years.
Ossining 82, Horace Greeley 47
