Pelham 3, Scarsdale 2
At West Point's Tate Rink, No. 2-seeded Pelham (16-5-2) repeated as Division 2 champs with a 3-2 win over No. 8-seeded Scarsdale (15-9). Sophomore forward Andrew Schauer (1G,1A) scored the game-winning goal off an assist from senior captain Colin Reilly (1G, 1A) with 4:25 left in the third period. Teammates Garrett Martin (1G), Matt Landis (1A), Will Cullen (1A) and Danny Shea (1A) rounded out the offensive production. For Scarsdale, Jake Bank led the way with a goal and an assist. Teammates James Nicholas (1G), Hunter Jurman (1A) and Travis Misarti (1A) also contributed. Pelham goalie Josh Borofsky made 19 saves, while Scarsdale's Connor Wolfe stopped 23 shots.

Suffern 6, ETB 1
At West Point's Tate Rink, No. 1-seeded Suffern (19-2-2) three-peated as Division 1 champs with a 4-1 win over No. 2-seeded Eastchester/Tuckahoe/Bronxville (19-4). Senior forward Willie Sanchez powered the Mounties with a game-high four goals. Teammates Steve Scholer (1G, 1A), John Redgate (2A), John Costa (1G), Connor Delaney (1A) and Robert Clark (1A). Goalie Tyler Stark made 18 saves to preserve the victory. Senior forward Mark Luciano scored the lone goal for ETB off an assist from Ian Palfrey. Netminder Lucas Berger stopped 20 shots. Suffern — which led just 1-0 after the first period — scored two goals inside the first five minutes of the second period to extend its lead to 3-0. Luciano trimmed the deficit to 3-1 with 6:28 left in the second period, but Sanchez rattled off three straight goals to close it out. Suffern will square off against Section 9's Monroe-Woodbury in the NYS quarterfinals on Saturday at 6 p.m. at Sport-O-Rama.
