Group 1
New Providence 4, Haddon Township 0
The defending state champs were able to do it again this year in the Group 1 finals by shutting out the 19-6 Haddon Township Hawks. New Providence brought back nine starters from the championship team it had last year and was determined to win again. In the first half, Casey Trezza scored and put New Providence on the board. In the second half New Providence’s offence exploded. Ally Hartenstein had corner kicked the ball to teammate Ashley Evangelos, who converted the kick into a header right into the net, giving New Providence the lead, 2-0. Shortly after, New Providence’s star scorer Alex Schlobohm passed a defender and fired a shot from the right corner of the goal box into the net. Paige Carleen had the final tally of the game for New Providence.
Group 2
Ramsey 2, Robbinsville 1

Ramsey was able to come away with the 2-1 win in overtime at the Group 2 finals Saturday afternoon. Robbinsville had the first goal of the game when Christine Levering scored on an assist from Kari Nickels. Later in the first half Ramsey had a free shot opportunity and took full advantage, as Morgan Coonrad scored with a high shot into the top of the net to tie the game before the half. Both teams remained scoreless in the second half, forcing some overtime play. Lexi Kneif was able to score from close range to put another one on the board Ramsey and give the Rams the win and state title. Both goalkeepers had a solid game. Nicole Cirilli for Ramsey had six saves, while Robbinsville’s Emily Risoldi had five. Robbinsville ends its season at 19-3-1.
Group 3
Northern Highlands 2, Moorestown 0

Northern Highlands came out on top in the Group 3 finals against Moorestown at The College of New Jersey Saturday afternoon. The Highlanders' two goals didn’t come until late in the game, however. In the 73rd minute, Jackie Reyneke, the Northern Highlands sweeper, had a long throw-in from the right sideline that tipped off the hands of Moorestown’s goalkeeper Rebecca Schultz and dropped in for a goal. Schultz had 13 saves, but, shortly after the first goal, allowed another one from Hana Kerner that secured a Northern Highlands victory. Moorestown finished its season at 16-4-2 and Northern Highlands won the state title, while maintaining a perfect season.
Group 4
Lenape 2, Ridge 0

Ridge was no match today for Lenape’s dominant offense at the Group 4 final that took place at The College of New Jersey. Lenape defeated Ridge, 2-0, scoring both goals in the first half. Lenape was off to a quick start when Courtney Kovac redirected a pass from Shannon Westhead for the first goal of the game. The second tally came from Katie Rigby, who was assisted by Tori Prager. Despite the two goals, Ridge’s goalkeeper Rachel Axt had a very strong game with six saves. Ridge ended its season at 16-5-3 while Lenape went on to win its fifth straight Group 4 state title.
