Girls Swimming
Bridgewater-Raritan 115, Ridge 55
Bridgewater-Raritan sank Ridge in a 115-55 victory on Tuesday afternoon. Six different girls swam to first in the individual events for the Panthers, including Ashley Atherton’s victory in the 50 Freestyle. Christine Egan, Molly Lathrop, Agnello Paige and Lisa Tkach finished first in the 200 Medley Relay in a time of 1:56.4. The Devils' Amanda Wachenfeld won the 200 IM and 500 Freestyle. Bridgewater-Raritan improves to 4-1 as Ridge falls to 1-4.
Morristown 98, Livingston 72
Emily Ashton finished first in the 50 and 100-meter freestyle events to help Morristown slip past Livingston in a 98-72 victory. The Colonials Alexis Bates and Lindsey Giostra also won two events each. Ashton, Katy Curran, Giostra, and Jenny Shih victory in the 200 Freestyle Relay gave Morristown the eventual win. Nancy Yang won the 100-meter Butterfly in 1:14.93 for the Lancers. Morristown remains undefeated, while Livingston falls to 3-1 on the season.
Boys Swimming
Pingry 118, Watchung Hills 52
Pingry won its third meet of the season by defeating Watchung Hills 118-52 on Tuesday afternoon. Will LaCosta, Alex Mango, Jason Ring, and Brian Yan swam to first in the 200 Medley Relay in 1:48.81 for the Big Blue. The Warriors, Jimmy Campbell won the 100-meter Backstroke in 59.5. Mango, James Ross, and Yan also finished first in two events each for Pingry. Watchung Hills falls to 2-4.
Don Bosco Prep 116, DePaul 50
Don Bosco Prep sinks DePaul in a 116-50 victory on Tuesday afternoon. The Ironmen finish first in each individual and relay events and faces Tappan Zee on Thursday, December 23. The Spartans falls to 1-1 as Don Bosco Prep improves to 4-0 on the season.

Boys Swimming
Cranford 117, Rahway 50
The Cougars won the vast majority of the events in their swimming match against Rahway on Monday afternoon. Owen Vaughn was the winner in the 100-meter butterfly, Dmitriy Kotov took the top time in 100 meter freestyle and Christian Woo was the winner in the 500 meter freestyle as part of Cranford’s big victory.
Bayonne 104, McNair 66
The Bees won eight events in their swimming match against McNair, winning 104-66. Omar Marzouk won the 200 meter individual medley and was also part of the winning group of swimmers in the 200 meter relay. Ali Ahmed, Paolo Jimenez, Joel Martinez and Pola Tanyous combined to win the 200 meter medley relay for Bayonne.
Girls Swimming
Bishop Ahr 91, East Brunswick 79
Bishop Ahr just squeaked past East Brunswick in their swimming match on Monday afternoon, defeating them 91-79. Katrina Dy was the big winner for Bishop Ahr, her biggest win coming in the 200 meter individual medley race, which she won with a time of 2:37.96.
Somerville 114, Plainfield 53
Kathryn Coniglio won the 50-meter freestyle event, 100 meter freestyle event and was the lead-off racer in the 400 meter freestyle relay as Somerville dominated their match with Plainfield 114-53. Becki Lane was the winner in the 500 meter freestyle and Kyanna Pastore won the 100 meter backstroke as part of Somerville’s victory in the match.

CBA 96 St.Joseph (Met) 74
In a meet that showcased two state powers it was Christian Brothers prevailing 96-74 over St. Joseph’s (Met) Wednesday night at the Raritan Bay YMCA in Perth Amboy. Joe Connors won two events in the 50-Freestyle (22.22) and the 100-Butterfly (53.35) for the CBA Colts. St. Joseph’s Alex Burzynski won the 100 Backstroke in 53.85 and Matt Dezenzo won the 100 Breaststroke in a time of 1:01.59. Christian Brothers (2-0) got a eye opening win when Connors, Nick Vandermolen, Sean Dunne and Harrison Cefalo won the 200 Freestyle relay in very fast time of 1:28.29.
North Brunswick 94 Piscataway 76
North Brunswick beat Piscataway Wednesday night, edging the Chiefs 94-76. Matt Burke led North Brunswick winning the 200- Freestyle (1:56.5) and 100 Butterfly (57.76). Burke also picked up a win as part of the 400 Freestyle relay with Brian Chang, Nicolas Estevez and J.T. Stefan in a time of 3:39.22.
Central Regional 106 Barnegat 64
Central Regional dominated Barnegat, winning 106-64 Wednesday night. Zach Bach led Central winning the 50-Free in a time of 23.29, while teammate Ian Cook won the 100-Free in a time of 56.74. Bach then aided in winning the 400-Freestyle with Kenny Beyrooty, Michael Capogna and Eric Wiedeke in a time of 3:52.99.
Wednesday, Dec. 15
Scotch Plains 115, Delbarton 55
Scotch Plains won its second match against Delbarton in a 115-55 victory on Tuesday afternoon. Greg Baliko, Joe Dunn, Ryan Gajdzisz, and Dan Napolitano won the 200 Medley Relay in 1:45.5 for the Raiders. Keith Monteiro and Mike Napolitano also won an event for Scotch Plains. The Green Wave’s Michael Li swam to first place in the 100-meter Breaststroke.
Bridgewater-Raritan 125, Watchung Hills 45
Bridgewater-Raritan sinks Watchung Hills on Tuesday afternoon in a 125-45 victory. Brian Barr finished first in the 100-meter Butterfly and lead off in the 200-Medley Relay and 200-Freestyle Relay teams for the Panthers. The 200 Medley Relay team of Barr, Victor Luo, Nick Agnello and Tom Rinaldi finished first in 1:52.82. Watchung Hills falls to 1-3 as Bridgewater-Raritan improves to 2-0.
Hightstown 108, Hamilton 62
Scott Vitabile placed first in four events to help lead Hightstown 108-62 over Hamilton. The Rams, Vitabile won the 200 and 500 Freestyle, the 200 IM and 100-meter Butterfly. Hamilton’s A. Maevsky finished first in the 100 Breaststoke in a time of 1:27.96. Hightstown improves to 2-2 as Hamilton slips to 0-5.
