Bound Brook baseball unseats Belvidere
On May 1 the Bound Brook Crusaders met the Belvidere County Seaters for the second time this season, winning by a score of 9-2.
It seemed Belvidere was not ready for the Crusaders, scoring two runs in the top of the first inning. The score remained 2-0 until the third inning, when Bound Brook scored five runs. The Crusaders also scored one run in the fifth and another three runs in the seventh inning.
The first time that the two teams met on the diamond this season was April 5 in Bound Brook. The Seaters won the first meeting in a close game, with a final of 7-5. The Crusaders were excited to see them again and hungry for a win.
The Crusaders look to continue there winning in the next few weeks.
