No. 1 Hicksville (14-1-2) defeated No. 5 Massapequa (10-5-2) in the Nassau Class AA semifinals at Mitchel Athletic Complex. The Comets advances to the finals where they'll play No. 10 Great Neck South on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. at Hofstra.
(6) Hempstead 1, (10) Great Neck South 5
No. 10 Great Neck South (10-7-1) defeated No. 6 Hempstead (9-4-2) in the Nassau Class AA semifinals at Mitchel Athletic Complex. The Rebels play top-seeded Hicksville in the finals on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. at Hofstra.
QUARTERFINALS

(1) Hicksville 4, (9) Mepham 0
Kyle Poetzch scored two goals to lead No. 1 Hicksville (13-1-2) over No. 9 Mepham (9-7) in the quarterfinals of the Nassau Class AA Playoffs. Hicksville will play No. 5 Massapequa in the semifinals on Sunday at 1:30 at Mitchel Field.
(4) Plainview-JFK 4, (5) Massapequa 5
Dakota Barnathan, who notched his first hat trick of the year, scored his third goal on a penalty kick with 8:30 left to give No. 5 Massapequa (11-3-1) a 5-3 lead over No. 4 Plainview JFK in the Class AA quarterfinals. Dean Cafarella had one goal and one assist. Massapequa will play No. 1 Hicksville on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. at Mitchel Athletic Complex.
(3) Elmont 0, (6) Hempstead 1
Jose Guerra scored on a penalty kick with 34:20 left in the game to lead No. 6 Hempstead (8-3-2) over No. 3 Elmont (10-3-3) in the quarterfinals of the Nassau Class AA Playoffs. Hempstead will play No. 10 Great Neck South in the semifinals on Sunday at 10:30 at Mitchel Field.
(2) Sysoset 0, (10) Great Neck South 3
Will Rezin had two goals to lead No. 10 Great Neck South (9-6-1) to a win over No. 2 Syosset (9-2-3) in the quarterfinals of the Nassau Class AA Playoffs. Jonathan Zvi had two assists. John Nava had seven saves for his second consecutive playoff shutout. Great Neck South will play No. 6 Hempstead in the semifinals on Sunday at 10:30 at Mitchel Field.
FIRST ROUND

(8) Uniondale 0, (9) Mepham 1
Harly Hosty scored off a feed from Dante Ippolito in teh 25th minute and Steve Fotinos stopped nine shots to lead No. 9 Mepham (9-6) to a shut out win in the first round of the Nassau Class AA playoffs. No. 8 Uniondale finishes its season at 7-5-2. Mepham visits No. 1 Hicksville in the quarters, Wednesday at 3 p.m.
(5) Massapequa 2, (12) Port Washington 1
Kevin Bruckner and Dakota Barnathan scored and Sean Vinberg and Max Aronica each had an assist for No.5 Massapequa in a Nassau Class AA first-round game. Massapequa will host No.4 Plainview JFK in a quarterfinal on Wednesday at 2:30.
(6) Hempstead 6, (11) Calhoun 2
William Botty and Ives Manzanarez each scored twice lead No. 6 Hempstead (8-3-2) over No. 11 Calhoun in the first round of the Class AA playoffs. Hempstead will face Elmont on Tuesday.
(7) Carey 0, (10) Great Neck South 2
Alec Bernstein and Jonathan Zvi scored and Jonathan Nava made four saves to lead No. 10 Great Neck South (8-7-1) over No. 7 Carey in the first round of the Nassau Class AA playoffs. Great Neck South advances to play at No. 2 Syosset in the quarterfinals Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. Carey is 9-5-2.
