Holy Trinity's Jannace places second in Kalfus Math Fair

Hicksville, NY– Friday, April 20 at Hofstra University, Holy Trinity Diocesan High School sophomore, Emily Jannace, was awarded a Silver Medal in the 2012 Al Kalfus Math Fair for her presentation, the Mathematics of Spirals.

Holy Trinity has participated in the math fair for over 15 years and every year they have students bring home a medal.  Math teacher, Ms. Mary Clare Pellett, coaches the team and was very proud. “Emily worked extremely hard on her project and it paid off,” she said.
