    FINAL

    Sunday, November 20 (at Middletown HS)

    (Sec. 11) Port Jefferson 2, (Sec. 2) Maple Hill 1

    Vincent Antonelli and Connor Crovello both scored and the Royals defense held off a late Maple Hill rally to win the Class C state championship. This is the first boys soccer state title for Port Jefferson.

     

    SEMI-FINALS

    Saturday, November 19 (at Middletown HS)

    (Sec. 11) Port Jefferson 1, (Sec. 4) Lansing 0

    Blake Bohlen scored with 10:49 left in the first half to lead Port Jefferson to a 1-0 win over Lansing in the Class C boys state soccer semifinals. Port Jefferson (18-1-1) will play Maple Hill in the championship at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday at Middletown High School. Lansing finishes 19-1.

    (Sec. 11) Port Jefferson 2 (2OT), (Sec. 1) Alexander Hamilton 1

    Blake Bohlen's took a feed from Vincent Antonelli, shook a defender and beat the keeper from 22 yards with 7:00 left in the second overtime to give Port Jefferson (17-1-1) the win in the Class C southeast regional final. Port Jefferson advances to the state semis against Lansing, Saturday at Middletown HS at 11 a.m.

    FIRST ROUND

    Tuesday, November 8

    (Sec. 11) Port Jefferson 1 (OT), (Sec. 8) Friends Academy

    Vincent Antonelli scored the winning goal off a feed from Blake Bohlen with 4:53 left in overtime as Port Jefferson (16-1-1) captured the Long Island Class C championship at Diamond in the Pines. Gabe Davis had five saves for Port Jefferson, which will face Section 1's Alexnader Hamilton in the Regional Final on Saturday. Eli Ruosso had 10 saves for Friends Academy (6-4-4).
