Floral Park student's art work displayed at Elmont Public Library

Floral Park art student Ben Alfonso’s photograph chosen to be one of only 12 photographs out of a pool of over 1,200 photographs from over 82 Nassau, Suffolk and Queens’s public and private high schools to be displayed at the Elmont Public Library.

Ben is a student of Mrs. Glasser’s Advanced Placement 2-Dimensional class. Ben was honored at a reception on June 5 at the Astoria Federal headquarters in Lake Success. His winning photograph, along with three other pieces of his artwork is currently on display at the Sewanhaka Central Administration building until the end of September.
