Floral Park arts students work displayed at congressional competition
On Tuesday, May 29, Carolyn McCarthy’s office held a reception for the 16th annual 4th Congressional District Art Competition; “Artistic Discovery”. Three of Floral Park’s art students, Molly Brennan and Veronica Todaro from Mrs. Glasser’s Advanced Placement 2-Dimensional Design class and Maria Stagnitta from Mrs. Lucey’s Drawing and Painting class, displayed their artwork along with other Nassau County high school art students. The exhibit took place in Adelphi’s Ruth Harley University Center art gallery.
Carolyn McCarthy personally distributed certificates to each student artist. Proud parents, family members, teachers, and students were at the reception to support the talented students.
