All-Section boys basketball teams
Nick Camia
Isaiah Cousins of Mount Vernon was recognized as this season’s Mr. Basketball. Joining him on the Tri-County team were Will Trawick (Fox Lane), Mike McCahey (Clarkstown South), Tyler Sayre (Albertus Magnus), Sky Williams (Tuckahoe), and Randy Stephens (Mount Vernon).
George Gaine of Tappan Zee was named the Section 1 coach of the year. Gaine and the entire Tri-County team are all playing this week at the Westchester County Center.
Mount Vernon led the way with three all-section players. Tuckahoe, Fox Lane, Clarkstown South, Albertus Magnus, and Tappan Zee each had multiple players honored as All-Section.
