Smith was one of the dominant post players in the league, helping lead the Hatters to a perfect 20-0 regular season and their first-ever FCIAC title, though she tore her ACL in the semifinal game of the league tournament against Wilton. A three-time All-FCIAC and two-time All-State player, Smith averaged 17.6 points, 9.2 rebounds and 2.5 blocks per contest this past season.
