Connecticut girls basketball rankings (2/14)
1. Danbury (19-0)
Monday's 43-40 victory over Trumbull clinched the top seed in the FCIAC tournament for the Hatters.
2. Lauralton Hall (18-1)
The Crusaders wrap up the regular season on Tuesday against Pomperaug, looking for their 18th straight win by double digits.
3. St. Joseph (16-3)
After an impressive win at Stamford on Monday, the Cadets are in line for the No. 2 seed in the FCIAC tournament.
4. Trumbull (16-3)
The defending FCIAC champs would love another shot at Danbury in the postseason.
5. Torrington (16-3)
A victory over Sacred Heart on Tuesday would give the Red Raiders 14 wins in their final 15 games of the regular season.
6. Norwalk (14-5)
The Bears have won six straight, and will take on Westhill Wednesday at 5:45 p.m. -- a contest that will be live-streamed at MSGVarsity.com
7. Wilton (12-6)
Huge win for the Warriors, who snapped a two-game skid with a victory over Trinity Catholic on Monday. Now all Wilton needs is a win against Central on Wednesday to secure a home game in the FCIAC quarterfinals.
8. Trinity Catholic (13-7)
Mackenzie Griffin and the Crusaders enter the postseason having won seven of their last eight.
9. Watertown (15-4)
The Indians have allowed just one opponent to score more than 27 points during their six-game winning streak.
10. Thomaston (17-3)
The Bears closed the regular season on a 14-game winning streak.
