At 6-foot-9 and a rock-solid 250 pounds, Green Farms Academy rising senior Sean Obi is one of the biggest basketball players in the Connecticut Region.

He's also one of the best -- and among the state's highest rated.

An intriguing prospect who excels both on the court and in the classroom, Obi has garnered attention from dozens of Division I colleges and his stock has risen even higher this summer based on performances with the Connecticut Basketball Club and events such as the New England Elite 75 Showcase.

Obi, a double-double machine who averaged 18.2 points, 20 rebounds and 3.2 blocks per contest, was awarded first team NEPSAC Class C honors after leading the Dragons to one of their most successful seasons at 18-5.
