    Wrestlers from the Garden State and the Empire State will grapple for Tri-State supremacy in Sunday's NY/NJ All-Star Wrestling Charity Challenge. The event will benefit a pair of charities in The Adam Frey Foundation and Pinning Down Autism. New Jersey boasts an impressive nine state champions and five state runner-ups. New York's lineup features five state champions, two state runner-ups and three third-place finishers.

    NY: Jose Rodriguez, Fr., Wantagh (LI) — Placed second at states and finished with a record of 44-1.
    NJ: Kyle Bierdumpfel, Mahwah — Eighth-grader is a two-time state champ at the youth level.

    NY: Nick Piccinini, Fr., Ward Melville (LI) — Captured Ward Melville's first state title since 1981 and finished with a record of 45-0.
    NJ: Carl Buttitta, So., John F. Kennedy — Placed second in the state and finished with a record of 39-4.

    NY: Patrick Skinner, Sr., Kellenberg (LI) — Placed third in the state and finished with a record of 38-2.
    NJ: Brandon Calas, Jr., Seton Hall Prep — Won a state title and finished with a record of 21-3.
